Wow, what a journey! It’s been around four months since my last blog post, and so much has happened between mid-May and late September. Not only have I finished writing my book, lived through many miracles with Jannis (and yes — many of those moments are included in the book!), processed layers of grief, and received the first touching feedback from my test readers, but I’ve also been tested again and again — to see if I still believe in my path, in my worth as a human being, and if I will keep going no matter how many times the rug is pulled from under my feet.
